Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Joseph Woll is getting his first taste of playoff action after Anthony Stolarz was hit hard by Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett.

After an elbow to the head from Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett, the Toronto Maple Leafs ended up pulling Anthony Stolarz.
As a result, Joseph Woll was forced to come in and replace Stolarz without the ability to even get a warmup. These are his first minutes of the NHL Playoffs so far.
Coming into this series against the Panthers, many had actually wondered whether or not the Maple Leafs would take a chance on Woll.
However, given Stolarz's performance in the first round, head coach Craig Berube figured it would be best to just keep things the same.
Prior to being injured, Stolarz had played quite well as he had given up just one goal on 10 shots to start the game. Meanwhile, the Leafs had charged out to a 4-1 lead.
So far, the Panthers are getting steamrolled and their goaltender isn't exactly setting the world on fire either.

What's next for Anthony Stolarz?

We are currently in the second intermission of the game and there is no telling what is going to be next for Stolarz.
There is a chance that the Leafs can put him back into the game, but if there is a fear that he has a concussion, then he will remain out.
Game 2 goes down on Wednesday, and fans are already concerned about whether or not he will be good to go for that one. Thankfully, Woll seems up to the challenge.
We wish Anthony Stolarz the best as he continues to shake off the elbow from Bennet. Hopefully, he is going to be okay.
