Craig Berube calls a team meeting
While speaking to Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun, Berube noted that the team held a meeting to make sure everyone was on the same page.
We had a good, hard meeting today. I don't care what time of year it is. We have to make sure we're all bought into playing the right way.
One bad game had Craig Berube wanting to make a change, and that is extremely admirable when you really think about it.
The head coach could have easily just been content with brushing this to the side and focusing on today's rematch against the Red Wings.
Instead, he made sure to do what he felt was right. He wants the team to be committed to the game plan, and this could put the team on course.
With back-to-back games coming up, there is no denying that the Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot of pressure on them. A loss today could generate a week of headlines.
