Leafs Head Coach Craig Berube Contemplates Major Lineup Change Ahead of the NHL Playoffs

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has a lot to think about with the NHL playoffs coming up and fans are very excited to see what he might do.
Craig Berube has been a fantastic coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs and there is no doubt that he has what it takes to be make this team a Stanley Cup winner.
The playoffs are going to start on Sunday and the fans are in for a treat as the first round series will be against the Ottawa Senators.
Overall, this is a great matchup and while the Leafs are favored, that doesn't mean they can just let up off the gas and be complacent.
Craig Berube looks to mix up the Toronto Maple Leafs lines
While speaking to the media, Berube noted that there are some things he might change about his lineup as the playoffs begin.
In fact, one area that might see some change is the second line of William Nylander, John Tavares, and Max Domi.
"There's things I like and there's things that I don't particularly like all the time. For me, it's about them managing the puck more than anything. I think, you know, they've got to understand that hope plays aren't good plays. We need good hockey plays, and if they can get that mindset, that could be a dangerous line.
I mean, I think you have a little bit of everything on that line. But, they did a lot of good things. There's things that they probably can do better, too."

All season long, the left-winger on the second line has changed and there is no telling who should be there permanently.
Bobby McMann was good on the second line until he wasn't. Max Domi has been solid but his defensive acumen is poor.
Meanwhile, Max Pacioretty might not have the dexterity needed to play on that line. The same can be said of a guy like Calle Jarnkrok.
Whatever the solution is, we have no doubt that Craig Berube is going to find it. He is a good coach that knows how to get the best out of his guys no matter what.
