Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies recently spoke about the team's Game 4 loss to the Ottawa Senators and how everyone is feeling in the aftermath of it.
Has the Leafs won, they would have finished off the series in a clean sweep of their Ontario rivals. Instead, they must play a Game 5 back in Toronto.
This is going to be a very interesting game especially since the Leafs have been known for choking in the playoffs before.
Matthew Knies delivers his thoughts on the Toronto Maple Leafs
Matthew Knies has been great for the Maple Leafs in the series so far as he has three goals in the first four games and continues to be consistent.
While speaking to reporters, he made it clear that he isn't feeling the pressure right now, and neither are his teammates. Instead, they feel like they have an incredible opportunity in front of them.
"We put ourselves in such a great spot. We just got to follow through with it, We're just excited to get another opportunity and bring it back home as well."
The Toronto Maple Leafs are a team that has struggled in the playoffs for a decade at this point and the fans are fed up with this trend.
Having said that, the fanbase is very hopeful that they can win on Tuesday and prove that they can actually beat the teams they are supposed to beat.
If the lose, however, there are going to be some fans hammering the panic button and understandably so.
Hopefully, the team is able to have a good game and send the Senators packing once and for all.
