Craig Berube Reveals Where he Stands with Anthony Stolarz Following Lackluster Game 4 Performance

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube gave his take on Anthony Stolarz last night after giving up four goals to the Ottawa Senators in a pivotal game.
Anthony Stolarz allowed four goals on 21 shots last night as the Toronto Maple Leafs lost in overtime to the Ottawa Senators.
The Leafs had an opportunity to close out their series but now, we will be seeing a Game 5 in Toronto on Tuesday and there will be some nerves around all of this.
Ultimately, it should make for a good game, but there are some concerns around Stolarz and his ability to close out a series. Sure, these worries might be premature, but you can never be too careful.
Craig Berube on Anthony Stolarz
After the game, head coach Craig Berube was asked about Stolarz and whether or not his performance was a concern for the team.
As the coach noted, Stolarz was screened on the overtime goal. Moreover, as it pertains to his game, Berube thought it was just fine and is not interesting in changing netminders.
«Solid. On the last goal, he can't see anything there. There were a lot of people in front of him on that shot. He made a lot of good saves for us. I thought he was comfortable and played well. I am not concerned about Stolarz.»
On Tuesday, it is likelier than not that Stolarz will be getting the start. However, you never know as coaches are always trying to do new things.
Stolarz was phenomenal up until Game 4 which means he should probably be given another chance. However, if the Leafs lose again, then panic might start to set in.
Ultimately, this is going to be a fantastic ending to the series and Leafs fans are hoping for an easy win on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, the playoffs are never that easy.
Let's just hope Anthony Stolarz is keeping himself grounded and is ready to give a truly stunning performance against the Senators.
