Matthew Tkachuk Just Embarrassed the Toronto Maple Leafs with His Latest Comments

After a five-game series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, there is no doubt that the Florida Panthers are the scariest team in the NHL right now.

Unfortunately, the Toronto Maple Leafs have to go up against them now in Round 2 and for the most part, they are big underdogs.

Meanwhile, they also have to deal with guys like Matthew Tkachuk who are pretty ruthless on the ice and will not give up an inch.

Having said that, Tkachuk recently spoke about the next round against the Leafs and whether or not he and his teammates are feeling any pressure right now.

This led to some very dismissive comments that will leave the Maple Leafs feeling a touch embarrassed. Essentially, Tkachuk doesn't think this series is anything they haven't seen before.

The Florida Panthers have made the Stanley Cup Finals in two-straight seasons and if they get past the Maple Leafs, they have a great opportunity of making it three.

Ultimately, there is no telling how this series will go. But what we do know is that the Leafs are going to have a difficult time.

Game 1 goes down on Monday night and we cannot wait to see how all of this plays out. Hopefully, the Leafs don't let us down.
