Scott Laughton's Latest Speech Should Scare the Florida Panthers

When Scott Laughton got to the Toronto Maple Leafs from the Philadelphia Flyers back in March, there were some real concerns about his offensive shortcomings.

He wasn't producing and fans were getting angry, especially when you consider how the Leafs gave up a first-round pick to get him.

In the playoffs, however, Laughton has been an absolute dog. He finished the series against the Ottawa Senators with two assists. The second of which was on a William Nylander empty-netter in Game 6 that was the consequence of Laughton's last minute blocked shot.

After the game on Thursday night, Laughton was declared the Leafs player of the game thanks to his game-saving block.

Subsequently, the forward gave a speech that should instill fear in the Florida Panthers. As you will read, the man is fired up and ready to go.

The Florida Panthers are going to be playing the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday and this is going to be a truly interesting and exciting series.

If you are a fan of the Maple Leafs, then you are absolutely going to appreciate this upcoming series. However, it is going to be nervewracking.

Overall, fans can just hope for the best at this point. At the end of the day, the Leafs are very much underdogs in all of this.

Having said that, they have a lot of firepower up front and they just need to harness it at this stage.
