Max Domi's Latest Comments About Auston Matthews Are Eye-Opening to Say the Least

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has been under the leadership of Auston Matthews this season and it seems like that is going very well for him right now.
Max Domi has had a difficult season with the Toronto Maple Leafs as he only has six goals to his name and 28 points.
However, the last few games have been pretty decent for the forward has he has two goals in the last three games.
Moreover, Domi had a goal and an assist on Monday night against the Calgary Flames in a game that gave the Leafs a bit of a boost in the Atlantic Division title fight.

After the game, the forward spoke to the media where he made some very interesting comments about Auston Matthews, who had two goals and an assist.
The captain has struggled a bit this season, however, his play on Monday has a lot of people wondering if he has finally settled into the season.
For Domi, it was just another demonstration that Matthews is a born leader for the Leafs locker room.
"He's the man, honestly. He battles through, he's probably the hardest working guy I've ever played with in my whole career and I've played with a lot of guys. He's driving the bus for sure. It's tough not to jump on board with a guy that as talented as he is, you see him tracking back and turning pucks over and stripping guys and taking guys 1-on-3 down low and coming out with the puck somehow. The goal scoring speaks for itself, but it's all the other stuff and how he handles himself in here. Like I said, he's driving the bus and I've said it from day 1, he's my favourite player to watch and my favourite player to play with and best player in the world."
Things are not going to be easy over the next couple of days as the Maple Leafs have back-to-back games against the Colorado Avalanche and the New York Rangers.
If they can win both of these games, then that bodes well for this team's chances to win the Atlantic Division.
The fans are hoping for some kind of magic right now, and if Matthews truly is back then who knows what the team's ceiling is.
