Max Domi Gets the Ultimate Compliment From One of the Greatest Athletes of All Time

Max Domi has had his fair share of struggles this season and there have been times when fans have called for a trade.

At numerous points, the forward has gone through long stretches without a goal. In fact, he only has six goals in 59 games this season and is at risk of finishing the season with less than 10.

Sure, he has 28 points but when you consider his salary, there is no doubt that the fanbase and the franchise is expecting a whole lot more out of him.

On Monday night, Domi had himself a phenomenal game as he got a goal and even an assist in front of the Amazon Prime cameras.

It was a 6-2 win for the Maple Leafs against the Calgary Flames and it was one of those wins that the team desperately needed in order to keep the faith going forward.

Max Domi was proud of the win and he posted his goal on Instagram, where he got a shoutout from the greatest football player ever, Tom Brady.

Domi has had a friendship with Tom Brady for years and it is all thanks to his father Tie, who is also a huge friend of Brady's.

In fact, Tie Domi has been teaching Brady how to skate, which just shows that these guys are friends beyond just social media.

brady is a good mentor to have and as the playoffs approach, Max Domi would be smart to seek council from a guy who has won seven Super Bowls.

Only time will tell whether or not Domi and the Leafs are able to finally get over the hump once the real games start being played.
