Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi had a lot to say about William Nylander who had a four-goal performance against the bottom-feeding Philadelphia Flyers.
William Nylander has been having a phenomenal season with the Toronto Maple Leafs and last night, he picked up his 40th goal of the season thanks to two tallies against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The team's 7-2 win over the Flyers was also a good one for Max Domi who ended up scoring the seventh and final goal of the game for the Leafs.
Max Domi loves himself some William Nylander
After the game, guys like Max Domi and William Nylander were interviewed by the media and they both had some very interesting things to say.
Nylander was first up and he mostly just said that hitting 40 goals is cool but it is not a big deal especially as he is trying to win a championship with the Leafs right now.
Meanwhile, Domi spoke directly about Nylander, noting that he is a huge fan of the guy and that he loves what Nylander has done this season. He also said that Willy is one of his favorite guys to watch on the team.
«He's awesome. I love watching Will play He's one of one.»
One has to wonder where this team is going to go next as they continue to battle for that first place spot in the Atlantic Division.
They are in a tie with the Florida Panthers but they seem to have the tiebreaker right now which means they are currently in first.
However, the Tampa Bay Lightning are right behind in third spot and are two points out with a game in hand.
If anything, William Nylander and Max Domi need to show up and show out alongside their teammates from here on out.
