Las Vegas Golden Knights winger Mitch Marner will be returning to the Scotiabank Arena at some point this season, and fans have wanted to know when exactly.
There have been rumblings of when the Las Vegas Golden Knights might pop up in Toronto next season.
Some thought it could happen early, while others figured it would take place in 2026.
Toronto Maple Leafs unveil 2025-26 schedule
On January 15th, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be in Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights, in Nevada. This means the first matchup between these two will not be at Scotiabank Arena.
However, on January 23rd, eight days later, the Maple Leafs take on the Golden Knights at home. If you are a Leafs fan, circle this date on your calendars.
A lot can happen between now and then, but January 23rd should be Marner's official return to Toronto.
The rest of the schedule is quite interesting as the Maple Leafs have been given 15 back-to-backs, among other various quirks.
- Longest home stand: Five games (3x) - October 13 to October 21, December 6 to December 16, January 19 to January 27
- Longest road stretch: Six games (2x) - November 22 to December 4, January 29 to February 26
- Number of back-to-back games: 15
- Busiest month: 16 games - January
- Busiest home month: Eight games (3x) - October, December, January
- Busiest road month: Nine games - March
- Busiest day of the week: Saturday - 23 games (10 home, 13 road)
This is going to be fascinating to watch, and we cannot wait to see how all of this goes down.
Whether or not Marner crumbles under the weight of all of this, remains to be seen.
