Mitch Marner Roasted by Fans for Making Questionable Comments After Game 5

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner is historically bad in Game 5 to 7 of an NHL Playoffs series and that doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.
Mitch Marner is someone who has consistently failed for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the playoffs and the fans are starting to get fed up.
Game 5 against the Ottawa Senators was a great example of this as the Leafs lost the game 4-0 with Marner and Auston Matthews having some terrible games.
Now, Game 6 is going to go down on Thursday and there is going to be a lot of pressure to win the game and avoid a full-on collapse from this Leafs squad.

After last night's game, Marner made some eye-opening remarks about how games are not supposed to be easy and this is just how things go in the postseason.
"It's not supposed to be easy...We knew it was gonna be a challenge, we knew it wasn't gonna be easy. They pushed back the last two games. Now we've got to go into their building and play our best game."
Overall, this is not what Leafs fans wanted to hear from Marner. Instead, they wanted some real accountability that shows him taking some responsibility for what happened.
At the end of the day, Maple Leafs fans are fed up and they let those feelings be known below. In fact, many want Mitch Marner gone in the offseason.
Of course, if the Maple Leafs are able to win this series, then all of these sentiments will go away fairly quickly.
Having said that, the second round will be against the Florida Panthers or the Tampa Bay Lightning, and that is not going to be very easy.
Overall, it is going to be a tough Game 6 and the Ottawa Senators are feeling more confident than ever before.
