Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner is looking to make a big splash next week, and it seems like he and his wife are preparing for the free agency frenzy.
Mitch Marner is going to have a ton of options on July 1st, and for all intents and purposes, it would appear as though his goal is to leave the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It is a goal that is 100 percent in his hands, and the fans in Toronto are already prepared for the inevitable.
As a result, Marner must now think about who he wants to play for and what he is willing to do to make that partnership happen.
Reports suggest the Las Vegas Golden Knights are at the top of his list, and the interest appears to be mutual. In fact, new information has come to light, and it makes it seem as though a deal may as well already be in place.

According to Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff, Mitch Marner and his wife were reportedly seen shopping for houses in Las Vegas.
While this doesn't guarantee a deal is in place, it does tell us where Marner's head is right now, and that he is clearly very interested in Nevada.

The Golden Knights are reportedly preparing to trade Thomas Hertl by Saturday so that they can rid themselves of $8.1 million per season in cap space.
This seems like a very transparent move that shows just how much this Golden Knights team wants Mitch Marner on the roster.
Only time will tell whether or not Marner and the Golden Knights agree to a deal. If they do, we wonder if it will be on July 1st, or if the superstar winger takes a few days to decide.
