Morgan Rielly Responds to Criticism from Toronto Maple Leafs Fans After Game 5 Beatdown

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly hasn't been amazing this season and in the NHL Playoffs, he has been just okay against the Ottawa Senators.
Morgan Rielly is a defenseman who has certainly garnered a lot of criticism this season as he has frequently made mistakes and left fans wanting more.
So far in the playoffs, he has been just fine with three points through five games and a -1 rating while on the ice.
Overall, he has been up and down and last night's game against the Ottawa Senators was an example of this as the whole team was bad in a 4-0 loss.

Now, many Leafs fans are upset because it feels like the team is blowing what should have been an incredible lead.
After last night's game, Rielly addressed some of those fans and their concerns. Ultimately, he said there won't be any panicking. Furthermore, the team just wants to stay together and do their job.
«We have to stick together. We've been in this spot before. We have to understand that we have the lead in this series - there's no reason to panic. The media has a job to do, and it's about us doing ours.»
Rielly and the Leafs better hope they bring their A-Game on Thursday night. Otherwise, there is going to be a huge freakout from fans.
No one wants to see a Game 7 right now because that could end up being a complete disaster for this team.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can come through and finally give the fans something to cheer for.
The team has already defeated the Sens three times in the series. They can do it a fourth.
