Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is readying his return to the franchise, and the latest update makes it seem like game action is imminent.
Anthony Stolarz has been holding down the Toronto Maple Leafs to start the season, as he has played a total of 11 games.
Cayden Primeau has played the other three, and while he does have a winning record, he has not been good.
The Maple Leafs are eager for Joseph Woll to return so that they can split the time equally between Woll and Stolarz. However, Woll must first get back into shape.
He has been working out at practices, and the assumption has been that he will get sent down to the Toronto Marlies for a conditioning stint.

In a more detailed response to the situation, Berube actually made it clear that the goalie is in a "good spot" and has been making a lot of progress as of late.
Its getting close. I don't want to give you a timeline & then it's changed, but I can just say this: he's in a real good spot
Clearly, the Maple Leafs are about to get their goaltender back, even if the head coach cannot give an exact timeline on when he may return.
If one thing is for certain right now, it is that the Toronto Maple Leafs are a team on the up and up, especially amid a three-game winning streak.
This weekend, they will take on the Boston Bruins and the Carolina Hurricanes. The Bruins are a game that they will be looking to dominate from start to finish.
Whether or not the Leafs give Cayden Primeau a start during this back-to-back, remains to be seen.
