Toronto Maple Leafs head coach watched Anthony Stolarz attempt a low percentage play, and it led to a warning that every goalie has heard before.

Anthony Stolarz has won four games in a row following a rough start to the season. While his goals-against average remains above three, and his save percentage below .900, he is still getting the wins.
His team is playing much better in front of him, and while there are still some lingering issues, the Leafs are getting timely goals, and that is all that matters.
In fact, the team defeated the Utah Mammoth by a score of 5-3 last night in what was the Leafs' best game of the entire season.
Stolarz was feeling good towards the end of the game, and it led to him attempting a Hail Mary goal. Unfortunately, the puck was batted down in his own end.

Anthony Stolarz goes for a goalie goal

After the game, head coach Craig Berube spoke about the play, and issued a very well-deserved warning to his netminder. Simply put, he doesn't want him making this a habit, unless he improves his shot.
I don't mind it up two goals he's just gotta raise the puck a little higher. The guy who caught it, he's pretty tall.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are a very good team right now, as they continue to win games and create some separation in the Atlantic Division.
Despite a poor start, they now boast a record of 8-5-1 and have won three games in a row for the first time all season. Needless to say, good things are coming for this team.
As for Stolarz, Joseph Woll could be coming back to the team very soon, and this will help the Leafs get their rhythm back when it comes to their goaltending rotation.
After a rough start, things are finally looking up, and fans have every reason to get their hopes up.
