NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun has delivered some major insight into where Mitch Marner wants to go when the free agency period opens on July 1st.
Mitch Marner has a huge decision to make over the next few weeks as the free agency period officially begins on July 1st.
So far, teams like the Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings, and Anaheim Ducks have been theorized as potential destinations.
Where will Mitch Marner go in Free Agency?
The NHL insider reiterated that Marner is being pursued by the Ducks, Red Wings, Blackhawks, and even the Kings. However, his top two destinations are the Florida Panthers and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

After a 27-goal season that also included a total of 102 points, Marner could be in the market for a deal worth an AAV of $13.5 million.
Whatever the case may be, there are a ton of teams out there who would love to have a guy like Marner on the roster.
Whether or not the Leafs are able to retain their superstar, still remains to be seen.
However, if there is one thing for sure, it is that Marner and the Leafs are jonesing for a fresh start.
