Scott Laughton Reveals how Toronto Maple Leafs Legends are Preparing him for the Playoffs

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton has been looking forward to the NHL Playoffs and despite being on the fourth line, he has a shot to move up.
Scott Laughton was a bit of a risk when the Toronto Maple Leafs traded for him at the NHL trade deadline. The Philadelphia Flyers even got a first-round pick and Nikita Grebenkin in return.
Unfortunately, Laughton has not been sensational since being traded. He has struggled mightily at times and was only able to manage two goals in his stint with the Leafs.
Now, the playoffs are on the horizon and Laughton is going to be the center for the team's fourth line.

While speaking to Mark Masters, the lifelong Maple Leafs fan explained how he is preparing himself for the playoffs.
Essentially, he wanted to look at guys like Shayne Corson and Darcy Tucker who have had a lot of success with the Leafs in the playoffs in the past.
"I watched the highlight pack yesterday. I remember watching guys like Darcy Tucker, Shayne Corson & all those guys. That was kind of my era of hockey & I thought it was the best era of hockey. It was amazing, so really excited to get going."
Laughton is clearly very excited to engage in a playoff battle with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are a team he has always loved. The atmosphere is unlike anything he has ever seen.
"You see the buzz & how much people care here & that's what you want in a franchise & to go to battle for. So, yeah, it's an exciting time. I haven't played playoff hockey in a while, this is big for me."
At the end of the day, the Maple Leafs are one of the most historic teams in the league and their fanbase is truly incredible.
Hopefully, Laughton can play his best games of the season down the stretch and show fans exactly what he can do.
