William Nylander remains one of the best players on the Toronto Maple Leafs and this season has proven just how valuable he is to his team.
Overall, the Swedish forward has delighted all season long with 44 goals, and he is currently just six away from the 50-goal plateau something the forward has never done.
The playoffs are on the horizon and Nylander is ready to go as every chance he gets, he reiterates why the postseason is so important to this team.

Heading into the NHL playoffs, the Maple Leafs are garnering a nasty reputation due to their newfound love of fighting.
Under Craig Berube, this team has been a lot grittier and after a fight from Steven Lorentz against the Columbus Blue Jackets, it was revealed that the team has had 12 guys get fighting majors this season.
While speaking to the media, Nylander noted that this is simply a testament to just how amazing the team is and how everyone has each other's back.
«We got some great grit on our team, and I think that's needed in the playoffs. The guys have done a great job when they've fought, so it gets the guys going and shows that we're ready to compete every night.»
While there won't be any fighting in the playoffs, there is no doubt that the fans are impressed with what they are seeing out of the team right now, as are we.
We all know that the Maple Leafs are a good team, but whether or not they can keep this success going come playoff time, still remains to be seen.
