Whatever the case may be, the Maple Leafs are trying to win tonight and that means fielding the best lineup possible to go against the reigning Stanley Cup champions.
Toronto Maple Leafs prepare for the Florida Panthers
Earlier today, the lineup was revealed and as it turns out, the team is going for the exact same lineup they had against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.
The only difference here is that goaltender Anthony Stolarz will be in between the pipes.
With that being said, it seems as though the Leafs have just shown their hand and have revealed what their playoff lineup will look like.
Some fans might tell us to pump the brakes as Max Pacioretty has yet to return. However, he doesn't fit with this team right now and given his limited starts, it would be better if the team left him as a scratch, even if he is healthy.
The team is clicking right now and the current line combinations have led to offense up and down the entire lineup, which bodes very well for the playoffs.
While that third line might be a bit shaky, they have been good over the past few games, so we can imagine Craig Berube will just keep it the same.
