Last night's win over the Florida Panthers was huge for the Maple Leafs confidence as they are now on a three-game winning streak and they have likely found their playoff starting goalie.
Moreover, earlier in the match, fourth-line center
David Kampf also went down with an upper-body injury and was promptly ruled out of the game.

Prior to the injury, there were some fans saying that Kampf needed to be taken out of the game due to his poor performance, something that has carried through all season long.
With five goals and 13 points this season, the forward has struggled mightily, and the upper-body injury did not help matters at all.
After the game, reporters were seeking answers about Kampf and McCabe but unfortunately, they were not able to get anything tangible.
According to Luke Fox, there is no update right now and we will probably have to wait until later today to get any real answers on what is going on.
This is usually par for the course when it comes to injuries. That said, this is not the kind of thing you want to see happen near the end of the season.
For a playoff run to go well, the Leafs are going to need all of the help they can get. With multiple players injured, that simply is not going to happen.
