We Now Know the Dates for the First Two Toronto Maple Leafs Playoff Games

Tonight, the Maple Leafs are taking on the Florida Panthers in a game that could very well guarantee them a spot in the NHL playoffs.

If they pick up one point, they catapult themselves into the show, although a win in regulation would give this team a nice cushion in the Atlantic Division race.

At this point, the Leafs will either play the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Panthers, or the Ottawa Senators in the postseason, which is a very exciting prospect.

No matter what, fans just want to see this team win a playoff round which is something they have consistently struggled to do over the years.

While they got over that hump in 2023, they were immediately put in their place by the Florida Panthers in what turned out to be a pretty embarrassing series, all things considered.

Today, however, it was revealed by reporter Nick Alberga that the tentative dates for the Maple Leafs' first two playoff games have been announced. If you want to go to these games, they will be on April 19th and April 21st.

April is always a stressful time for NHL teams and that is no exception when we talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs.

If you root for the team, you can't help but hope this season goes well into the month of May, something we haven't been able to say in past seasons.

Overall, the Maple Leafs are a team that can definitely do some damage, but that is going to take a herculean effort, going forward.

One can only hope that they ride out these final eight games on a high and go on a run that fans have dreamed about for decades now.
