Sad News: 34-Year-Old Former KHL Star Found Dead in his Home
More sad news is coming out of the hockey world as it was revealed that former KHL forward Fyodor Malykhin was found dead at the age of 34 this past week.
Today, more bad news is coming out of the hockey world. this time concerning 34-year-old former KHL star Fyodor Malykhin.
According to reports, he was found dead in his home this past week and there is currently no cause of death.
Fyodor Malykhin was a mainstay of the KHL
It has been reported that he died of natural causes and that there is currently no investigation for wrongdoing.
Malykhin began his KHL career in 2010 for Yekaterinburg Automobilist before moving on to Kazan Ak-Bars.
This is where he got to win a KHL championship in 2018. Eventually, he would play for teams like Traktor Chelyabinsk, Spartak Moskva, Vityaz Podolsk and even Avangard Omsk.
Malykhin scored 219 (107+112) points in 548 career games with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg 🇷🇺, Ak Bars Kazan 🇷🇺, Traktor Chelyabinsk 🇷🇺, Spartak Moskva 🇷🇺, Vityaz Podolsk 🇷🇺, and Avangard Omsk 🇷🇺 in the KHL, from 2010-2023. He won the Gagarin Cup with Kazan in 2018 and also participated in the 2014 KHL All-Star Game.
This is yet another truly tragic story in the hockey world and has become all too common over the past year or so.

He was a fantastic player and a beloved teammate to many. RIP Fyodor Malykhin. His memory will always live on for hockey fans.
