Sidney Crosby hasn't been having a great time with the Pittsburgh Penguins this season and one reporter claims that came up in his pre-game speech to Team Canada.

Team Canada defeated Team USA on Thursday night to win the 4 Nations Face-Off in what was a thrilling overtime game.
Sidney Crosby found himself on the winning side of a best-on-best tournament yet again, although now, he must go back to reality with the Penguins.

Sidney Crosby at the 4 Nations Face-Off

Crosby doesn't have many years left in the NHL, so fans were very happy to see him get another tournament win.
According to RDS reporter Stephane Leroux, Sid the Kid seems to be very self-aware about his predicament and what is next for him.
In fact, Crosby reportedly mentioned to Team Canada that this is probably his last chance to actually win anything.
"Crosby told everyone in the locker room: 'I'm not going to win with the Penguins this year. So this event (4 Nations), I want to win it.'" - Stéphane Leroux
That said, Crosby is likely going to be at the Olympics in 2026, and a third gold medal would certainly do absolute wonders for his legacy.
Although there is no guarantee that happens, the fans out there are certainly going to be hoping for it.
No matter what, Crosby is one of the five best players to ever play the game and we hope fans appreciate what they are witnessing while he is still playing.
Hopefully, the captain at least gets one more opportunity in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
