Today, while speaking to the media, Stolarz confirmed that his injury was, indeed, a concussion. It was not sustained during a slapshot to the head. Instead, it was the fault of
Sam Bennett.
However, the goaltender made sure to say that he didn't think it was on purpose. Instead, the goaltender believes it was just one of those unfortunate hockey plays.

On Sam Bennett he says he doesn't think there was any malicious intent.
Next season, Stolarz will be back with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it will be interesting to see if the Leafs are able to keep him as their starter.
Joseph Woll had some truly shaky moments during the postseason, and some wonder whether or not he is good enough to carry the workload.
Stolarz, on the other hand, was sensational, and the fans would love to see him back for another season of hockey.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs make any changes to their goaltending. As it stands, they have no reason to do so.
