Toronto Maple Leafs reporter Dave Feschuk was on TSN 1050 on Thursday and made some very worrisome claims about goaltender Anthony Stolarz and his injury.

Anthony Stolarz was injured in Game 1 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers by forward Sam Bennett.
This completely changed the fortunes of this series as the Leafs started off up 2-0 but are now down 3-2.
With Game 6 on the horizon tonight, Stolarz is not even close to coming back, which is certainly unfortunate, all things considered.

Does Anthony Stolarz have a concussion?

However, there are plenty of reasons to be concerned right now if you are the Leafs.
According to Dave Feschuk on TSN 1050 on Thursday, Stolarz might be dealing with something worse than a concussion.
In his conversations with doctors, the fact that Stolarz threw up is suggesting that there could be something else going on here.
The problem is guys like, you know, speaking of concussion experts and people that spend a lot more time thinking about these issues than we do, the one thing they've underlined to me is that vomiting on the bench after a head hit, or potentially two head hits, because he took that shot off the head, as well as the Sam Bennett forearm.

That's not normal concussion symptoms, and that was the concern from the concussion experts I spoke to is that it's not normal to be vomiting from a concussion.

It could mean it was a more serious thing, that we don't know what it is.

These guys, these doctors that I spoke to, have not examined the man, but they do know the history of concussion symptoms, and they were very concerned that the vomiting thing could indicate something more serious than a concussion.

And obviously, a concussion is very serious, so who knows where Anthony Stolarz is at. You have to hope for the best for him as a human being first.

If that truly is the case and the injury is worse than a concussion, then don't expect to see Stolarz again in these playoffs.
This is all very disappointing, and we truly wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
Hopefully, the Leafs show out tonight in Game 6 and they do it for their incredible goaltender.
