The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins are playing each other tonight, and the game will feature a former forward for the Toronto Marlies.
Whenever the
Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins play each other, it is an all-out war, and tonight should prove to be no exception.
Meanwhile, the Boston Bruins have called up a forward for tonight's game, and it is a forward who is familiar to the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
That player just so happens to be Alex Steeves, who owns the record for the most goals in the history of the Toronto Marlies.
He has eight points in nine games with the Providence Bruins so far this season, and he will be looking to have a big game against his former team.
Unfortunately, despite his AHL success, Steeves just hasn't been able to showcase his talents in the NHL, and that remains true with Boston.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have won three games in a row heading into tonight's matchup, and they will be looking to make it four.
This won't be the only game the Leafs play this weekend, as they are also going to be taking on the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday night.
If the Leafs can get two wins here, that would do wonders as they hunt down the Montreal Canadiens at the top of Atlantic Division standings.
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs can put an entire game together here.
