Columbus Blue Jackets Completely Disrespect the Toronto Maple Leafs on Social Media

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Toronto Maple Leafs might be on a crash course for a first-round matchup in the NHL playoffs and one team is trying to troll online.
One of the biggest surprises of the NHL season thus far are the Columbus Blue Jackets who suffered a tremendous tragedy before the preseason with the death of Johnny Gaudreau.
With his passing, no one thought the team would be any good this season and fans had mostly written them off.
However, with just 20 games left in the season, the Blue Jackets occupy the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference and would play the Florida Panthers if the postseason began today.

However, the Toronto Maple Leafs are in a position to take over the Atlantic Division lead from the Florida Panthers and if they make it happen, then they would get the Blue Jackets in the first round.
The Columbus Blue Jackets social media admin on Instagram was made aware of this and they immediately decided to make a joke at the team's expense.
Essentially, the franchise is confident that if they play the Leafs, they will be going straight into the second round.

You cannot fault the Blue Jackets for feeling this way as the Maple Leafs have been burnouts in the playoffs on numerous occasions at this point.
Not to mention, the Blue Jackets have destroyed the Maple Leafs every single time they have played each other this season.
While Leafs fans may find these social media antics to be disrespectful, they are at least somewhat rooted in reality.
It is now up to Toronto and its players to turn the tide and get some playoff success as well as respect around the National Hockey League.
