The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight, and Craig Berube is changing his lineup, with a punishment for Bobby McMann.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann has not been productive this season as he has only managed two goals and one assist in 12 games.
In fact, he has gone eight straight games without recording a single point, which is just awful. What makes this even worse is that he has been given opportunities on the first and second lines.
Fans have been calling for a demotion of sorts, and at the morning skate on Monday, it appears as though head coach Craig Berube finally took action.

Bobby McMann taken out of the Maple Leafs lineup

As you will see in this report from Mark Masters, McMann was on the outside looking in as it pertained to the lineup. If William Nylander is good to go today, then McMann will be a healthy scratch.
The first line will consist of Auston Matthews, Matthew Knies, and Nick Robertson. The second line will contain players like Easton Cowan, John Tavares, and William Nylander.
Meanwhile, the third line is Dakota Joshua, Nicolas Roy, and Matias Maccelli, with Sammy Blais, Max Domi, and Calle Jarnkrok rounding out the fourth line.
Knies - Matthews - Robertson
Cowan - Tavares - Nylander
Joshua - Roy - Maccelli
Blais - Domi - Jarnkrok
Laughton, McMann, Lorentz

Rielly - Carlo
Benoit - McCabe
Ekman-Larsson - Myers
Mermis

The Toronto Maple Leafs will also be without Scott Laughton and Steven Lorentz tonight, as they are currently dealing with injuries.
Needless to say, this is a very unique lineup, and it is clear that the Toronto Maple Leafs want to try something new.
Only time will tell whether or not this strategy will work out against a hungry Pittsburgh Penguins team.
