Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander scored two goals last night against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but that was not enough to keep him from speaking out.

William Nylander continued his blistering start to the NHL season on Monday night as he had two goals and an assist in a win against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The forward now has 18 points in 10 games, making him one of the best in the league when it comes to points per game.
Had it not been for Nylander's effort, the Maple Leafs would have had no chance of defeating the Penguins on Monday, especially after going down 3-0 after two periods.

William Nylander sends a Message to the Toronto Maple Leafs

Despite the performance, Nylander doesn't seem to be feeling too good about how any of this went down. While speaking to the media after the game, he was blunt about the team's performance.
Simply put, the forward does not believe what the Leafs are doing is acceptable. Instead, he wants to see them be held accountable and be better.
(We) played terrible for two periods. It's unacceptable. There's nothing more to say.
At the end of the day, the Toronto Maple Leafs are a team that has lacked consistency throughout the start of the season, which is a real problem.
Whether or not the Maple Leafs can get themselves on track here is something that still remains to be seen. They have yet to win three in a row all season.
Thankfully, the Maple Leafs remain at home on Wednesday, as they look to take on the Utah Mammoth. This will be a huge test of the team's capabilities.
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, you are probably hoping that we don't see the first 40 minutes of that game against the Penguins, ever again.
