Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz is fresh off a huge victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, and tonight, the Leafs play the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Anthony Stolarz had a bit of a rough start to the NHL season. A few games in, he called out his teammates, and it led to a whole bunch of discourse.
On Saturday night, Stolarz turned aside 31 of 33 shots against the Philadelphia Flyers. It was a nice way to get back on track, and the fans were eager to see Stolarz duplicate this performance.
Tonight, the Leafs are playing against the Pittsburgh Penguins for Monday Night Hockey on Amazon Prime, and the starting goalie decision was an obvious one for head coach Craig Berube.

According to Mark Masters of TSN, Stolarz will be the starter tonight, while
Cayden Primeau will be the backup.
Joseph Woll was on the ice getting some reps in today; however, he is not ready to play yet, and there is even a sense that he will go to the AHL for a bit.

The rest of the Maple Leafs' lineup is looking interesting, especially when you consider how the lines keep changing from game to game.
This is a Leafs team that is still finding its identity, and as a result, it might be a while before we see consistency across the lineup.
For now, the one beacon of consistency will be Stolarz, as Primeau just isn't good enough to play on a consistent basis.
