Craig Berube's Latest Comments Prove that He's Scared of his Own Players

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube made some worrisome comments on Wednesday night after Game 5 against the Florida Panthers.
When the St. Louis Blues had bad games, he was never shy to call them out and say how he truly felt about the performances.
But if you were to read his comments from these recent games, you would come away not even recognizing who this coach even is.
"There were mistakes. A lot of mistakes."
The comments were obvious and lacked the passion that we would typically see from Berube in these kinds of bad situations. Having said that, it would appear as though perhaps the coach has been told not to go so hard on the superstars.
«Tonight, it wasn't a good game for anybody. Anybody. All of us - was not a good game.»
If that is indeed true, then that is absolutely brutal. It shows that the Leafs superstars are sensitive and don't actually care about winning. Just their ego.
Only time will tell whether or not Craig Berube can get through to any of these guys behind closed doors. Game 6 is coming up and something needs to be done and or said.
At this point, it is hard to be a Leafs fan. Down 3-2 after a 6-1 loss on home ice does not inspire very much confidence, whatsoever.
