Craig Berube Makes an Interesting Admission as William Nylander's Minutes Take a Nosedive

Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander has seen a reduction in his minutes as of late although Craig Berube confirmed what we all assumed about it.
William Nylander is one of the best players in the league this season and he has been a stud for the Toronto Maple Leafs thanks to his 44-goal campaign.
With four games left in the season, the forward has 82 points and has an opportunity to average over a point per game this season.
Unfortunately, he has struggled a bit as of late with some inconsistent play. In fact, many have noticed that his minutes are down, which lends itself to some uncomfortable questions.

Today, Berube was asked about Nylander's minutes and whether or not it was on purpose that the forward started to play less.
The head coach was very diplomatic while speaking about this phenomenon noting that he meant nothing by it.
In fact, he has been trying to limit the minutes of all of his forwards lately as the games start to get more intense and the playoffs come quicker than ever.

William Nylander is going to be just fine and if you are a Maple Leafs fan, there is absolutely no reason to worry about a single thing right now.
If he continues to struggle during the playoffs, maybe then it will be time to panic. But for now, there is no point getting caught up in hypotheticals.
Right now, the focus should be on this team winning the Atlantic Division and getting an advantageous playoff matchup in the first round.
