Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is gearing up for Game 1 against the Florida Panthers and the projected lineup is definitely raising some eyebrows.
Tonight, the
Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers will face off in Game 1 of the second round of the NHL Playoffs.
Overall, it is going to be a difficult series for the Leafs who lost in five games the last time these two teams met in the postseason.
Under head coach Craig Berube, this Leafs team is a lot different, but that doesn't guarantee a good result. Instead, the team will have to be playing its best hockey in every single game.

In order to win, the team also has to throw out a good lineup whenever possible. Today, the projected lineup was released and there were some curious decisions.
Essentially, the lineup is identical to what it was in Game 6 against the Ottawa Senators. Except for now,
Max Domi is on the left wing,
Bobby McMann is on the right, and
Pontus Holmberg will center the third line.
Meanwhile, every single line is identical and the same can be said for every single defensive pairing.
Maple Leafs projected lineup for Round 2, Game 1 at home vs. Florida:
Knies-Matthews-Marner
Pacioretty-Tavares-Nylander
Domi-Holmberg-McMann
Lorentz-Laughton-Jarnkrok
Rielly-Carlo
McCabe-Tanev
Benoit-OEL
Stolarz
Woll
This is going to be a fascinating series and we cannot wait to see how the Leafs respond here on home ice.
A win would be spectacular and it would make a lot of fans excited about the potential for an upset. They just need to take it game by game.
