Craig Berube Reprimands Anthony Stolarz for Public Comments About the Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube had some thoughts on Anthony Stolarz's epic rant that came at the expense of his teammates.
Anthony Stolarz was livid with his teammates following a loss to the Seattle Kraken on Saturday, and he made sure to let the media know about it.
His comments were pointed, with some harsh criticisms directed at guys like Brandon Carlo and even William Nylander.
These comments could severely affect the team's chemistry, and going forward, the Maple Leafs are going to need to figure out how to keep everyone happy.
They also need to figure out how to be a tougher team, as Stolarz continues to get barrelled into, with very little action from the team's leaders.
Craig Berube on the Anthony Stolarz situation
At practice today, Craig Berube was asked about Stolarz's comments, and as it turns out, the head coach isn't very happy with his goaltender for speaking out so bluntly.
He feels as though the frustration is warranted, although these kinds of sentiments need to stay in the locker room, and cannot go beyond those walls.
It's frustration, we all prefer it stay in the room, but it happens, but we've moved on from it.
It's easy to see Craig Berube's perspective here. After all, there is a reason why we typically do not see players speak so candidly. The team prefers to keep things amongst themselves.
However, you have to admire Stolarz for speaking his mind, and not being afraid of the consequences. The Leafs needed to hear his message.
As Berube noted, the team has since moved on, and they are simply going to try and be better. That is all you can ask for as Stolarz has helped bail the team out this season.
