Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson is heading for arbitration on Sunday, and his salary demands were just leaked by insider Elliotte Friedman.
Nick Robertson had his fair share of struggles with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season, and there is no denying that he wasn't always what the team needed him to be.
In the postseason, he only played three games as Craig Berube just didn't trust him to play well on both sides of the ice.
Now, however, Robertson and the Leafs are about to go to arbitration on Sunday, August 3rd, and it's clear that both sides are far apart right now.

Robertson and the Leafs are probably looking at a one-year deal. Furthermore, there is a sense that the Leafs are just going to trade him anyway.
Having said that, Elliotte Friedman just leaked Robertson's salary demands to the fans. Essentially, he wants $2.25 million per season.

Both sides are very far apart, as the team only sees him as worth $1.2 million. Overall, the arbitrator is going to look to find some middle ground.
We imagine a $1.75 million per season salary is on the table, as that seems to be the perfect midway point here.
Having said that, we are unsure of how this is all going to shake out. Ultimately, we just want everyone to be happy.
This weekend will be fascinating to watch, and we will certainly be keeping tabs on all of this.
