Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella was recently asked about the Toronto Maple Leafs and their newest bench boss, the always interesting Craig Berube.
John Tortorella is easily one of the more controversial coaches in the National Hockey League and for good reason.
He is currently the coach of the Philadelphia Flyers and tonight, his team is taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are looking for a win.
While he doesn't watch Leafs games, he did speak on the amazing work Berube has done throughout his career.
"I don't watch your team. I have enough things to worry about. I know you're in good hands with Chief. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him."
Subsequently, Tortorella was asked about
Scott Laughton who has struggled in his time with the Maple Leafs.
The Flyers bench boss was adamant that Leafs fans just need to give Laughton some time before they start demanding for big moves.
"He's full of the glue of a locker room ... In talking to him, he's just trying to keep his head down and trying to fit in ... I hope people are patient with him, because it's a huge adjustment. You're going to find out what he's about eventually."
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs can keep their focus and come through with a win tonight.
This is a very important game for the team as they look to stay competitive in the race for the Atlantic Division.
