The Toronto Maple Leafs are taking on the Philadelphia Flyers tonight in a pivotal matchup and their starting goalie decision may just turn some heads.
Anthony Stolarz and
Joseph Woll have split the net for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season and both goaltenders have gone through ups and downs with their play.
Stolarz was the better goalie to start the year and at one point, he even led the league in save percentage.

His goals-against average has plummeted from 2.15 to 2.42 and his save percentage has gone from .929 to .918.
However,
Anthony Stolarz is getting the call tonight as the Leafs take on the Flyers.

Pontus Holmberg appears to be the odd man out with
David Kampf remaining in.
Joseph Woll doing goalie work so Anthony Stolarz is the projected starter tonight.
Overall, this decision may be polarizing but Craig Berube has committed himself to splitting the net until he has to make a decision.
There are twelve games left in the season and neither goalie has separated themselves in the starting goalie battle, which for some is good, but for others, might be a huge concern.
Needless to say, Anthony Stolarz needs a big game tonight and the Maple Leafs are hoping for the same. A win could very well put them back tied for first in the Atlantic Division.
