Leafs Head Coach Craig Berube's Latest Comments About William Nylander Are Shocking

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has been loving William Nylander's play in the postseason and it has led to some pretty shocking comments.
William Nylander was the leading goal-scorer on the Toronto Maple Leafs this season as he showed the NHL world that he is not to be messed with.
In the playoffs, Willy has continued to elevate his play. In eight games so far, the forward has a total of six goals and seven assists for 13 points.
He is one of the top points getters in the NHL Playoffs right now and if the continues to play like this, there is a very good chance the Leafs can make a deep run.
Craig Berube pumps William Nylander's tires
Unsurprisingly, his play has caught the attention of his head coach Craig Berube, who has been making some very complimentary comments about Willy.
After Game 2, Berube's comments were actually quite shocking. The way the coach spoke, you would think Nylander is the best player in the league.
"Just leave him alone," Berube said. "Nothing gets to him. He doesn't feel pressure. There's no too big of a stage for him... He wants to be there. I don't think he feels pressure or anything like that. He just plays."
The Toronto Maple Leafs are up 2-0 on the Florida Panthers, and fans are feeling as though this year is different from all of the others.
However, it shouldn't be forgotten that this team has been cursed over the years. While they are playing well, this could easily all turn in the blink of an eye.
As a result, Maple Leafs fans should be cautiously optimistic about all of this. There is always a chance the Panthers come back with the series heading back to Florida.
For now, the fans will enjoy this lead and the players will too. 10 more wins until a Stanley Cup is in their hands.
