While speaking to the Daily Faceoff, Knies actually doubled down on his love of Toronto, and you truly love to see it.
He said that he loves the snow, he loves the people, and he loves how the city goes nuts whenever the Leafs are doing well.
I love the snow. It makes you feel like you're in hockey season. I love the city. There's so much to do, so much to see. I love the buzz for the city - how invested people are. It's cool to be a part of it.
At the end of the day, Knies is a player who is going to be around for a long time, and Leafs fans are very happy about that.
If you are a Leafs fan, Knies is going to be a player to watch this season. After scoring 29 goals in his sophomore season, he has the potential to take another leap.
Auston Matthews loves playing with him, and whoever takes Mitch Marner's spot on the top line will love playing with Knies as well.
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs are able to have a big season, and if Knies can truly become the heir to the Core Four crown.
