Brad Treliving is one of the best general managers in the NHL, and there is no denying that he is someone who is always thinking about the next move.
For months now, fans have been wanting the general manager to take a big swing. A blockbuster deal that could bring a top-six forward to the team.
Making these moves isn't easy, and it costs a lot of assets. Whether that be roster players or draft picks, Treliving has to be smart.
With that in mind, some have wondered if ownership even wants him to make a move. After all, they get the final say when it comes to expenditures.

They likely only have a shot at one of these things this season. That means Treliving is going to have to be very smart with his decision.
