Matthew Knies Goes Viral for his Antics that Are Driving Sergei Bobrovsky Insane

Matthew Knies has been a revelation for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, and there is no doubt that the fans have been loving his play.

In the postseason, Knies has shown that he can elevate his game quite significantly. He has four goals and one assist through eight games so far, and he has made life hell for opposing goalies.

Florida Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky understands this all too well, as Knies has been a thorn in his side throughout the first two games of the second round.

For instance, the Maple Leafs sophomore has been going viral for his new technique that he employs whenever he wants to screen the goalie.

As you can see below, Knies shifts and contorts his body every which way so that the goalie can't see anything. Of course, he avoids pulling a Sean Avery, but he does enough to leave the goalie infuriated.

This is the kind of ingenuity you want to see from your star forward, especially in the playoffs when getting to the front of the net is even more important.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are up 2-0 in the series right now, so clearly, they are doing something right.

At the end of the day, it is going to take a lot for the Leafs to actually finish this series off and prove that they deserve to be in the Eastern Conference Finals.

However, if they do pull it off, then the fanbase is going to be extremely excited, and for good reason. It is going to be a lot of fun to watch.
