Nick Robertson was a healthy scratch for numerous games in a row, however, the Toronto Maple Leafs put him back in the lineup tonight and he has been sensational.
Over the last few games,
Nick Robertson has proven to be a pariah of sorts as head coach Craig Berube had scratched him numerous games in a row.
David Kampf was in the lineup in his place and there were fears that Robertson would not play a single game come playoff time given his lack of production.

Well, Robertson exceeded all expectations as he came through and scored two goals in a 5-0 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Overall, the Blue Jackets have been a thorn in the side to the Leafs this season but this was not one of those instances. Instead, the Leafs walked all over the Jackets with Robertson getting himself a game-winning goal.
This was one of the best performances of the season for the struggling forward and it just goes to show that Berube should be considering him more come playoff time.
With 14 goals and seven assists this season, Robertson could definitely be a bit better. However, there is no telling if he will be able to get himself into that mindset come playoff time.
It is always difficult to play your best when the pressure is on, but this could be an opportunity to stay in Toronto beyond this season.
Robertson is someone fighting for his NHL livelihood, and now is as good of a time as ever to play the best hockey of his entire life.
We cannot wait to see what he does next and hopefully, it doesn't disappoint.
