Game 2 goes down tonight, and if one thing is for certain, it is that Bennett is going to be booed fairly brutally all throughout Scotiabank Arena whenever he touches the puck.
Toronto Maple Leafs fans hate Sam Bennett right now
In fact, Leafs fans are so angry with Sam Bennett, that one creative individual made "wanted" posters that are being plastered all over the city of Toronto.
Someone was even spotted handed these out. The sign says "Wanted: Dead or Alive" and there is even a reward of $1,000,000.
Of course, this is just a troll job and should not be taken seriously whatsoever. Although we're sure Bennett is a bit nervous about what he is stepping into tonight.
Later today, we will know for sure whether or not
Anthony Stolarz will be the starting goaltender against the Florida Panthers in Game 2.
If not, the starter will be
Joseph Woll, who will be starting his first game of the NHL Playoffs so far.
Either way, the Leafs are up 1-0 in the series right now and they should be feeling good about themselves. A win tonight could be devastating and would be the perfect way to head into Florida.
Hopefully, this team can capture the magic of Game 1 and get some big goals from the team's biggest superstars.
