Toronto Maple Leafs center Scott Laughton was traded by the Philadelphia Flyers just a couple of weeks ago and now he is reaching out in a meaningful way.

Scott Laughton spent 10 years with the Philadelphia Flyers prior to being traded by the team just a couple of weeks ago at the trade deadline.
Since that time, the center has largely struggled with the Maple Leafs as he hasn't managed a single point while also being demoted to the fourth line.
Overall, it has not been a great start but on Tuesday, he could be extra motivated as the Flyers are in town to take on the Leafs in what should be a very interesting game.

Scott Laughton still loves the Philadelphia Flyers

On Sunday night, the Flyers traveled to Toronto following a game against the Chicago Blackhawks and unsurprisingly, Laughton was there to greet some of his former friends.
In fact, according to Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun, the newly-acquired forward went out of his way for the trainers and support staff in Philly.
He took them out for dinner and he recognizes that Tuesday's game is going to be a bit hard to stomach, for numerous reasons.
Scott Laughton met a few of his ex-Flyer teammates Sunday night when they arrived here following their game in Chicago. He made a point to take out the trainers and support staff. who'd helped him in his ten-year tenure in Philly. Says Tuesday will be "weird and emotional".
Hopefully, Laughton can find his game on Tuesday as the Leafs are relying on him to be a serviceable player when the playoffs come around.
If he can't do that, then a whole lot of fans are going to be disappointed, and if there is one fanbase you do not want to mess with, it is the Maple Leafs.
After a loss against Nashville, Tuesday's game will be important in terms of the team getting back on track, and even the Atlantic Division race.
