Jack Roslovic is a free agent that the Toronto Maple Leafs have been considering as of late; however, they have yet to actually take the plunge with a new deal.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been looking to add to their roster as of late; however, it hasn't been easy to find free agents who are still available.
As it stands, the Leafs need someone to play on their top line, but they have yet to find someone who fits the bill, beyond guys already on the team.
Recently, the team has been showing interest in free agent forward Jack Roslovic, although he is more of a bottom-six player, which makes him redundant.
This has led to debates about whether or not Roslovic should be signed to a new deal. Other teams seem hesitant about him, even if he did have 22 goals last season.
Are the Toronto Maple Leafs signing Jack Roslovic?
Recently, Frank Seravalli was on Bleacher Report this past week, where he offered up his take on Roslovic and his standing with the Maple Leafs.
Seravalli claims he believes the Leafs are still trying to sign Roslovic, and that it could happen soon. Ultimately, the final decision will come down to the Leafs themselves.
I think the Maple Leafs are still very much in contention to get Jack Roslovic
Roslovic is a guy who could contribute right away and be extremely solid in the bottom-six. Unfortunately, he does not have the top-line cache the Leafs need.
Having said that, there is no telling what Brad Treliving will decide to do here. The Maple Leafs have a huge decision to make.
