Toronto Maple Leafs Make Quick Decision Involving Dennis Hildeby

Yesterday, the Toronto Maple Leafs called up Dennis Hildeby so that Anthony Stolarz could get a night off, but as it turns out, this was going to be short-lived.
Anthony Stolarz is someone who isn't used to playing a lot of games. While being given the keys to the franchise is nice, it does come with downsides.
After getting seven starts in the first eight games, Stolarz was hurting. Last night against the Buffalo Sabres, he wasn't even ready to go as a backup.
Cayden Primeau got the start, and he ended up with the win. Meanwhile, questions persisted about whether or not Anthony Stolarz would be good to go against the Calgary Flames.
Toronto Maple Leafs send Dennis Hildeby back down
This morning, we officially got our answer as it was revealed that Hildeby is being sent down to the Toronto Marlies after just 15 hours with the team.
Overall, this is not a huge surprise, but it is good to see that Stolarz is already back in shape to play some more games.
Tuesday night's game against the Flames will be very important for the Maple Leafs as they look to get themselves back above .500.
This has been a rough start to the season, and we know that Stolarz agrees, given just how much the team has struggled in front of him.
His statistics are nowhere near where they were last season, and you have to wonder if the Leafs can get themselves a win against a struggling squad.
Thankfully,
Joseph Woll is coming back soon, which will provide the Maple Leafs franchise with some much-needed relief.
