Toronto Maple Leafs Reportedly Making a Move for Nazem Kadri

Nazem Kadri is one of the most consistent and solid scorers in the National Hockey League. At 34 years old, he had a 35-goal season with the Calgary Flames, and he remains a solid center who can do it all.

Years after being traded by the Toronto Maple Leafs, fans in the city still yearn for the days when he was on the roster. Throughout last season, numerous trade rumors involving Kadri circulated, sparking speculation about a potential reunion.

In the end, the Flames held onto their center as they were trying to make a late-season playoff push. Although they fell short, their effort was truly valiant.

Now, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to upgrade at the center position, and with free agency on the horizon, a trade seems like their best bet.

Having Kadri and John Tavares on the team would be perfect, as you would have second-line and third-line centers who are interchangeable depending on the situation.

Of course, some may see this as a bit of a pipe dream. The Flames aren't going to give up Nazem Kadri for nothing. It will cost the Leafs dearly.
