16-year-old hockey player dies following tragic freak accident

The hockey community is mourning today after the news that 16-year-old star Aaron Cheadle of Browerville, Minnesota, passed away in a car accident.
He was eventually swept off the road and struck a tree. Subsequently, he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Aaron Cheadle had a good head on his shoulders
The victim - identified Monday as 16-year-old Aaron Michael Benjamin Cheadle of Browerville - was driving a Ford Taurus northbound on Highway 71 around 10 p.m. near Little Sauk Township when the car went off the road and struck a tree near 150th Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol website.
Cheadle was pronounced dead at Centracare Sauk Centre Hospital.

Aaron Cheadle was a sophomore forward. He was 16.

Our hearts and condolences go out to the Cheadle family during this devastating time. We cannot imagine what they are going through.
