Bobby McMann's Latest Comments Have Toronto Maple Leafs Fans Up in Arms

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann recently spoke about the team's playoff failure, and as you can imagine, fans were not super excited about his words.
Bobby McMann is a player who scored 20 goals and 34 points in the regular season with the Toronto Maple Leafs, although his playoff performance left much to be desired.
To be fair to McMann, he had never played in the postseason before, and he had to do a whole lot of learning. Unfortunately, the playoffs are a bad time to learn, as the stakes cannot be any higher.
Recently, the forward was in Wainwright, his hometown, where he played a charity game and even got to speak to some media.

McMann's comments were interesting, as he acknowledged his lack of playoff experience and how it led to his disappointing performance.
He also stated that he believes the Leafs learned a lot from their experience, and that they will be better because of it.
We didn't get the result we wanted, but we finished first in the regular season, and I gained a lot of respect playing in my first playoff series. It was hard to go through and not come out with a win, but I think we learned a lot from it
Unfortunately, McMann's comments are not sitting well with Maple Leafs fans right now, and it is very easy to see why that is the case.
As you can see below, fans are sick of this "we learned a lot" mentality. Instead, they want tangible results.
Going into next season, there are various debates surrounding McMann and whether or not he can be a perpetual 20-goal scorer.
Overall, fans are hoping he can be, especially since he has proven to be a staple of the team's bottom-six offensive output.
